SCANDINAVIAN TERRACE
IN CANNES
-showcase and meeting place
For more than 20 years, Scandinavian Films, the umbrella organization
of the Nordic film institutes, has provided a meeting place for people
of the trade, press and international collaboration partners at 55,
la Croisette, during the film festival in May.
From early morning to late evening, the magnificent premises and the
terrace have housed meetings, press conferences, negotiations and parties.
The afternoons’ Happy Hours have become a festival institution
– and will remain so!
The Swedish Film Institute now
has an all the year round lease on the premises. The Scandinavian
terrace will be developed into a new meeting place for Scandinavian
enterprises and organizations.
Scandinavian profile
The beautiful garden terrace situated on the first floor offers
a panoramic view of the bay of Cannes. It contains three studios
and two wonderful rooms facing the terrace and the sea, accommodating
receptions for 300 people.
The Scandinavian terrace will of course be of special interest for Scandinavian
companies that participate in major festivals or events in Cannes or
have local offices there. However, we also welcome guests from other
parts of the world. Due to its great flexibility, the Scandinavian terrace
will be well suited for conferences, screenings, receptions and kick-offs.
We will also be able to offer office space and accommodation.
